Make the web based templates free. The program is already expensive. Charging extra for more templates (apart from the giveaway templates) is just a big rip off.

Perhaps the people who designed the templates would like to earn something from the time and effort they have invested. (I still appreciate getting paid money for work I did).

Perhaps improve the quality and quantity of available templates (for the same price).

Introduce a market place for templates created by third parties - where users can purchase templates cheaply that have been created by designers - and a large portion of the profits are forwarded onto the template creators.

After all - you are trying to extend the selection of templates and provide incentive for others to create templates to be made available to others. Just making them "free" will ensure that there is no desire to create another template ever again...

Just saying make it free because it is a "big rip off" is a terrible suggestion.
